About the Author
Dr Hellen Ndiku is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, School of Science and Technology, University of Eastern Africa, Baraton. She holds a DrPH in Public Health Nutrition. In addition, she holds a P1 certificate in elementary school teaching, Bachelor of Arts in Home Economics, Bachelor of Business Administration (emphasis: Accounting), MSc Foods and Nutrition, and Masters in Public Health. Her research focus and primary interest is in public health nutrition. She is married and the proud mother of two grown sons.
